Miss Christina Little is a new staff member within our Wheeling Park High School Community, and we are so pleased to give her a warm welcome. You may recognize her from the cafeteria, but now she is our newest secretary in the counseling office. Of course, being a cafeteria worker and a secretary are two different worlds, but Miss Little enjoys how she can interact with the students more than she could.

¨The difference between [working in the cafeteria and now counseling] is that I didn’t have this position to really connect with students,” said Little.

Miss Little can be seen working on a multitude of things. She helps all students who come in, whether they need to talk to a counselor or need a minute in the zen den. Miss Little is always there to help. She also handles the scholarship list for seniors while dealing with SAT and ACT prep work. 

 Each day holds a new objective, and as Miss Little says ¨ As the day comes, and as problems come, its just a little bit different each day.¨

Mrs Short, a counselor at WPHS, shares her thoughts on having Miss Little.

“Miss Little has been super fabulous since she has joined our school counseling department as our secretary. She’s always willing to help, to try new things, and shes really friendly with our students.”

In her free time, Miss Little loves hanging out with her bearded dragon and chihuahua.
