Alexandra is a senior at Wheeling Park High School, but she attended a few other high schools before coming to Park.
Alexandra used to live in Las Vegas, Nevada. She spent fourteen years there before coming to Wheeling, West Virginia. She has enjoyed her short time at Wheeling Park, being able to experience a lot of different opportunities.
She is going to miss the music department and her friends. The music department at Park has given her something to look forward to every day and performances to perfection.
“Underclassmen need to focus on being a well rounded student. While getting good grades is important, it means nothing without experiencing other things, joining clubs, going to the football games and other events that Park offers,” said Glennon.
She has loved being able to be someone that underclassmen could look up to. She has taken on a “big sister” role to many girls at Park and she would not change that for anything. Knowing that she felt like a safe space for many other younger girls is extremely important to her.
She is a hard worker, always in a good mood, always on task, and willing to do anything you ask her to. She does not let anyone get under her skin.
“She helps freshmen and puts them in the right direction, she is always so kind and helpful with anything. I get along with her so well, she is an amazing student and I’m beyond proud of her. I hope she does well in the future,” said Mr. Porter
Glennon will be attending Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee with a major in music business.
“Belmont has been my dream school since I was a freshman and I’m beyond excited to be attending in the fall,” said Glennon.
