Wheeling Park High School’s Lily Osborne is a staff writer in the Park Press. Lily has been very involved at school for the past four years. She is a student ambassador, a member of the American Cancer Society Club, and a member of the Paws for a Cause Club. She is also a part of the National Honor Society and the Spanish National Honor Society.
Rylin Russell who has been friends with Lily for four years is very grateful to have a friend like Lily.
“What I love most about being friends with Lily is also what I love most about Lily: she’s kind, confident, funny, and smart, and that spreads to the people around her,” said Russell.
During her four years of high school Lily has made many memories but mentioned Queen of Queens being her favorite.
“My favorite memory from high school is definitely winning Miss Congeniality at Queen of Queens and just the whole pageant in general. It was a super fun experience and all of us got closer by the end of it,” said Osborne.
Outside of school Lily dances at the Oglebay Institute School of Dance. Her teacher, Cheryl Pompeo, is looking forward to seeing what she can do for her future.
“I am so excited to see what the future brings for Lily. She is an excellent student in dance and the sky’s the limit,” said Pompeo.
Lily is planning on going to Point Park University to major in dance and get her masters degree in business.
The Park Press was lucky to have Lily and will miss her positive personality everyday!
