Paws for a Cause is hosting a donation drive and are looking to work with organizations, including the Ohio County, Marshall County, and Belmont Animal Shelters. The donation drive ends on November 21st.
“If you are passionate about animals, and want to help them and see what you can do for animals around the area, then you are more than welcome to join,” said Ms. Little
Paws for a Cause is a club that focuses on helping animals in need at local animal shelters.
“Anything helps, blankets, towels, dog food, and stuff like that would really help the donation drive moving forward,” said club member Oliver Ortega.
Their most needed items for November are peanut butter, pumpkin puree, toys, enrichment puzzles, cat litter, and dry food for Ohio County.
“We are just waiting to see where we are as a club in November and try to host some volunteer opportunities for us to be present in the shelter,” Said Ms. Little.
The head of the club, Ms. Little, is very passionate about animals and wants to be involved in the community by helping out the animals. The last two sponsors stepped down last year, so she stepped up because she didn’t wanna see this club disappear.
“Since it is once every three weeks, it is kind of hard to continuously make things happen, but we just join together to talk about things we can do, plans we want to make, and our goals for each month,” said Ms. Little.
Paws for a Cause is a great club whose main focus is helping animals in need. New members can still join for a $20 fee. This is a week two club.
