Small Buisness Spotlight: Under The Elder Tree

In Centre Market by the retro gaming shop lies a mystical and spiritual shop called Under The Elder Tree. With its amazing atmosphere and inviting staff, this shop is quite the experience. They have many items to offer, such as candles, herbs, teas, crystals, jewelry, and many more cool things! You can also get messages, card readings, and aura photography.

“I’ve been practicing massage therapy for 22 years but 14 years ago is when I first came up with the idea to make a business. I wanted to offer natural health and metaphysical products to help the community. The name Under The Elder Tree comes from my last name which is German, and in mythology, it is the tree of the wise women. I just thought it was fitting for my line of work. Running a small business can be hard and rewarding, you can do what you want however, running a business can consume your whole life, but it is the work I love doing so I’m still satisfied,” said the owner, Carrie Eller.

Make sure you check out this ethereal small business! They are open from 11-5 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, and 12-2 p.m. on Sunday. They are located at 2205 Market Street in Centre Market. Be sure to indulge in all of their fixings!

Her most prominent skills include taking AP classes, dreaming about sharks, doing her makeup, golfing and attending school events. She is widely known for her article on Big Nuts: A Tragedy. She is looking forward to making many articles this school year. She, as well, plans to do it next year in her senior year. She enjoys interviewing people and hearing where they stand on certain issues.
