“I’ve been practicing massage therapy for 22 years but 14 years ago is when I first came up with the idea to make a business. I wanted to offer natural health and metaphysical products to help the community. The name Under The Elder Tree comes from my last name which is German, and in mythology, it is the tree of the wise women. I just thought it was fitting for my line of work. Running a small business can be hard and rewarding, you can do what you want however, running a business can consume your whole life, but it is the work I love doing so I’m still satisfied,” said the owner, Carrie Eller.
