Anisa Loving is a senior here at Wheeling Park High School. She is involved in a multitude of extracurricular activities and is a very hardworking student. Anisa plans to attend West Liberty University and major in biology.

While in High School, Anisa has been very involved in the theater program both at Wheeling Park and within her own community. Not interested in acting, Anisa has been involved in the backstage aspects of theater for a while. She has served as Stage Manager for the fall play, Almost Maine, as well as the Assistant Director for the upcoming spring musical, The Addams Family.

“She’s not afraid to question things…and she’s not afraid to lead,” said Mrs. Julie Schultz, the director of the spring musical.

In addition to helping out with the school theater department, Anisa also helps out backstage at The Strand in Moundsville, most recently working on their summer production of SpongeBob: The Musical. Anisa loves theater and hopes to continue her involvement even after high school.

This year, Anisa decided to explore other opportunities Wheeling Park has to offer and joined FFA, or Future Farmers of America. Joining as a Senior has been a completely different experience for her, allowing her to make a lot of great new connections.

“She doesn’t talk down to anyone; she involves everyone,” said Mr. Ethan Bloomfield, the director of FFA at Wheeling Park High School.

One thing that many might not know about Anisa is that she has a passion for baking. Chocolate cookies are her favorite thing to make, but she ran a mini Tres Leches Cake business with her friends and family over the summer. Compounding on her own baking business, Anisa has worked at the KFC-Taco Bell in Benwood for a little over a year now, showcasing her ability to manage all of her extracurriculars on top of a work schedule.

“I hope that I left a lasting impression on my peers that I treat everyone with kindness and was a very respectable person that they all can love and get along with,” said Anisa.

Anisa is a passionate and diligent student who is beautiful on both the inside and out. She serves as an incredible role model for all those who have the honor of being her friend.
