Wheeling Park Volleyball hosted its long-awaited Pink Out Game last Thursday night for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Leading the night with a win, the Varsity Patriots defeated the Parkersburg Big Reds in 2-sets, solidifying the momentum for the evening. Varsity then swept the Monarchs during their rivalry rematch, making the Patriots champs of the Pink Out night. JV blew by Parkersburg and lost against John Marshall in a tight, 3-set game. Wheeling Park Volleyball also offered a delicious variety of bake sale items for the cause. 100% of the proceeds went directly to Breast Cancer Awareness Research. Spotted here is Varsity wishing good luck to their opponents, the Parkersburg Big Red. Head Coach Samantha Gentle wants to thank all who attended and donated to the excellent cause!
