Valentine’s Day is the holiday of love. How are the students and administration at Park celebrating? Many are putting up festive decor.
“I like to decorate my fridge with window clings for Valentine’s Day,” said sophomore Alyeah Snodgrass.
“For Valentine’s Day, my mom and I make heart-shaped cookies, and we put a cute little pink tree that we handmade wooden decorations for last year,” said freshman Alivia Beadle.
If that doesn’t scream festivity, I don’t know what does!
“I cut out paper kisses and put them all around my house and have a fun Valentine’s Day party with my friends,” said junior Jules Burke.
“I decorate by putting blankets with hearts and cupid’s arrows on my bed and posters around my room,” said sophomore Alauna Miller.
“My mom hangs up a bunch of heart-shaped wreaths, and I put tinsel things with hearts on them. To celebrate, I buy a bunch of chocolates and flowers for my girlfriend,” said senior William Umstead.
“I don’t really decorate for Valentine’s Day, but I celebrate by giving my friends and the people that I care about cards and gifts,” said freshman Hayden Groves.
“I like to put little heart-shaped paper crafts around my house, and most of the time it’s garland on a string, and I also like to buy candy and give it to the people I care about,” said Mrs. Templeton.
“For Valentine’s Day, we have a clay date,” said junior Mikayla Graski. “And we make clay sculptures of eachother,” said junior Rex Montange.
” For Valentine’s Day, we are going to pick each other’s outfits and have a nice dinner with Kammi’s family and maybe one with just us,” said freshman Kaleigh Ivery.
“After we go snowboarding with matching outfits, then we are going to have a sleepover and watch Valentine’s movies,” said freshman Kammi Kosem
“My boyfriend, Josiah, and I are watching a movie for Valentine’s Day,” said sophomore Bella Powell.
“I’m going to get Bella a gift basket with all of her favorite things,” said senior Josiah Pervall.
Seems like Wheeling Park is full of love this year!
