If you know Alicia Harvath, you can picture a smart, kind and athletic sophomore at Park. She is involved in countless things, from being on the brand-new girls’ golf team to being on the tennis team. Aside from athletic accomplishments, she is heavily engaged academically. She is taking many tough classes such as AP psychology which Mr. Cirilli teaches, besides learning about the mind, she enjoys learning about chemical formulas and ions in Chemistry 1 honors, which Mrs. Redilla teaches. These are very impressive classes to take in only her second year of high school.
“I have Alicia in Chemistry 1 honors, she is a very conscientious student, she normally has all of her homework done, she double checks all of her homework, she does well on tests and quizzes, and is very prepared for class each day that she comes in, she participates all the time which helps in the classroom as well, she is truly a polite and lovely girl and she’s willing to help anyone,” said Mrs. Redilla.
Outside of curricular work, Alicia works both on the court and the green.
“On the tennis team Alicia was a great teammate, she was always supporting everyone and always wanted to improve during practice, she’s very competitive during the matches and she is a very hard worker overall and does the best for her team”, said Junior tennis player, Madeline Bradshaw.
“Alicia doesn’t only succeed academically, she has the lowest scoring average on the team. Her work ethic and positivity make her easy to coach. She is a leader in our team” said Girls Golf coach, Mrs. Goodrich.
Alicia greatly impacts her peers, from her positivity to her awesome scores. Alicia is without a doubt PARK!
