Nick Parsons is a typical sophomore for many reasons. He does Broadcasting which is his major choice when he gets into Ohio University. However, Nick Parsons was born with Cerbral Paisy which has impacted his movement.
He had to relearn how to walk, and after surgery, he had to treat his CP. They cut the nerve in his spine and neck, leaving him to the disability to walk.
“It was hard to go to therapy. everyday. After surgery, I had to learn to rewalk, and it sucks,” Parsons said. He doesn’t give up, no matter how hard his situation is. He keeps going!
Parsons does the same routine as any other human being, living his life. He gets up in the morning and goes to school with his walker. before school on Tuesdays and Thursdays, he goes to physical therapy to help him to learn how to rewalk.
Parsons has a teacher who helps him every day, her name is Davis, and she started working with him once he got to fifth grade. She’s there if he needs help or has surgery, and helps him get around. ” To have a good time, and make sure that his high school life is fun. He is very smart. He wants to go to Ohio University to study broadcasting for Esports when he graduates. No matter the physical or mental problem you have, that shouldn’t stop you from chasing your dreams, and goals, live life like you plan to.
