Should We Give Second Chance Breakfast, a Second Chance?

Should+We+Give+Second+Chance+Breakfast%2C+a+Second+Chance%3F

Although many people loved last year’s second chance breakfast, there’s many who prefer it the way it is now. The students and staff all have varying opinions on this topic.

Some of the teachers thought it was difficult to get things accomplished during DG when second chance breakfast was taking up the time.

“It was very hectic and chaotic to spend so much time taking their orders, going to get it, playing the videos that we needed to play, and taking attendance,” Mrs. Bunch said. She now has more time and she said that her room is much cleaner!

Even some of the students on Student Council  have alternate ideas so that everyone can be happy with the second chance breakfast!

Jerome Maynard, sophomore vice president, suggested students could go to the cafeteria to get second chance breakfast during DG instead of in the hallways so students could get both breakfast and second chance breakfast.

With this new second chance breakfast, students and teachers are able to use their time wisely during DG. The students have time to watch the daily videos along with any extra work they need completed. Most of the teachers like this way better and find it more productive.
