The Wedding Planner (2001)- Aries

Widely known for loving love, Aries closely resembles the plot of The Wedding Planner. The flirtatious tension seen between the love interests is very similar to Aries approach on love. Ironically, both love interests spend the movie refusing to admit their obvious feelings in order to avoid ruining the wedding. Competitiveness and the desire to win are found in the movie and in Aries. This movie is full of tension as the characters deny the obvious reality: they are perfect for each other. While Aries may be an expert on love, no one said their path to it was smooth!

The Notebook (2004)- Taurus

It’s no surprise that this overwhelmingly emotional, yet frustrating film is represented by Taurus. Taurus is known for its stubbornness and the love story in The Notebook is precisely full of it. In addition to the similarities, this movie as a whole showcases how deep true love can run. Under their rough exterior, a Taurus just wants someone who loves them, even knowing their flaws. Coincidentally, that is a defining part of Noah and Ally’s love. This movie highlights how, in the end, two souls always find each other. Taurus strives to find this, making them The Notebook’s best match!

The Break Up (2006)- Cancer

While Cancers have a reputation for being emotional, many people skim over a large part of their personality. Cancers are often immature in showing their emotions if they feel unvalued, and they will show off for attention in order to gain emotional recognition. This is precisely how the recently broken-up couple in the movie act towards one another. They both wear their feelings on their face, much like Cancers and have a habit of accidentally escalating arguments. Sharing traits of being social and the inability to fully move on without closure, The Break Up is flawlessly representative of Cancers!

How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days (2003)- Gemini

Coming from a place of scheming and exciting adventure, the classic How to Lose A Guy in 10 Days perfectly resembles Gemini. Geminis are known for their love of adventure and social events. This movie is full of both as it follows the main characters through their action packed 10 day love story. Furthermore, the characters reflect the indecisive nature of Gemini as they are unable to genuinely decide if they like each other. In relationships, Geminis want someone who challenges them. This can be seen throughout the movie when the characters continuously go head to head with each other!

My Best Friend’s Wedding (1997)- Leo

Truth be told, Leos usually use manipulation to gain whatever they desire. This is similar to Julianna using her complicated friendship with Micheal, her long-time best friend, to ruin his wedding. Ironically, both Leos and Julianna have a fear of commitment and only pursue a relationship they believe will benefit them. The possessive nature in this film is what helps it closely resemble Leos. However, unlike most signs, Leos stop at absolutely nothing to find their one true love. Michael’s dedication to his fiance shows the fierce  commitment Leo has once finding the love of their life!

The Proposal (2009)- Virgo

It’s absolutely no surprise that this movie relates to Virgo since the two main characters encompass both the chaos and calm, cutthroat composure Virgos simultaneously carry. The plot of this movie follows a woman who plans a wedding with her assistant in order to avoid being deported back to Canada. This relates to the Virgo urge of doing sporadic things to get their way. Luckily for Virgos, this romcom is an office romance. Office romances are the most representative of Virgos as they possess the Virgo love for slow burn and urge to go against societal norms!

When Harry Met Sally (2009)- Libra

The widely loved classic, When Harry Met Sally isn’t fitting to any other sign than Libra. The plot of this movie relies on the characters detaching their egos from their heart. This is something Libras commonly struggles with. However, Harry and Sally reflect each other down to every tiny detail. Similarly, Libras want nothing more in a partner than finding their equal, allowing them to relate closely to the relationship in the film. Much like Sally, Libras are slightly high maintenance and over dramatize their emotions. This film showcases the importance of longevity and commitment that Libras love!

10 Things I Hate About You (1999)- Scorpio

At first look, this movie doesn’t seem very emotional, but as the plot progresses and you learn more about the characters, the emotional aspect of the movie becomes clear. This is very familiar to Scorpios as they often cover up their emotions with sarcasm. Unsurprisingly, the main character, Kat Stratford, shares this and many other Scorpio traits. On top of the shared traits, the plot of 10 Things revolves around a secret, very elaborate, plan of getting two people together. Similarly, Scorpios often go to extreme lengths to get what they want. This movie absolutely screams Scorpio.

He’s Just Not That Into You (2009)- Sagittarius

This film follows a group of people in their 20s and 30s navigating their dating lives. Much like Sagittarius, this film highlights the opposing ways a Sagittarius will act when they like someone. From communicating their feelings directly and loudly to masking their feelings and bottling them up, this friend group showcases both! Not only do the characters as a whole resemble the emotional and romantic nature of a Sagittarius, the point of this movie is to highlight how unpredictable commitment truly is. A Sagittarius values freedom, meaning they don’t fully commit unless they’re sure it will work!

Notting Hill (1999)- Capricorn

Everything in Notting Hill is rather straightforward between the characters once they get past their awkwardness. Capricorn themselves tend to be direct about emotions due to their heavy disdain towards miscommunication. Oddly enough, the couple in this film can’t seem to stay away from each other. No matter what happens, they find their way back to one another. This again is another Capricorn trait as they search for commitment immediately in relationships. Under their rough exterior, Capricorns are extremely emotional. Notting Hill goes through several stages of sadness as the characters discover the path to their rather rocky love story.

She’s All That (1999)- Aquarius

She’s All That isn’t a unique, never seen before plot, but it doesn’t try to act like it is. This aspect is what helps it relate to Aquarius the most. The film knows what it is and Aquarius takes pride in knowing who they are. Even moreso, both main characters are extremely intelligent, relating to the value of intellect that can be found in Aquarius. The most Aquarius trait of this film is the core aspect of following your dream and being your most authentic self. This movie has a simple plot, but includes deep, emotional themes that Aquarius loves!

Set it Up (2018)- Pisces

At its core, Set It Up is a love story about two assistants manipulating their bosses into dating so they can secure some extra time off. This plot relates back to Pisces in the sense that the main characters are only able to achieve their plan because of how well they know their bosses. Similarly, Pisces usually pay very close attention to those around them and pick up on details many others don’t. Almost everything in this film is reflective of a Pisces; from the two assistants ensuring the happiness of their bosses, to their realization of their own love!
