Pumpkin Treats As Zodiac Signs

Oh my gourd.

Pumpkins are a key piece to enjoying fall to its full capacity. In honor of a fantastic season, let’s look into different pumpkin treats in relation to the 12 zodiac signs.

Capricorn – Pumpkin Bread

Capricorns take a while to warm up to you, just like how pumpkin bread takes a while to create. Capricorns take time to get to know, but when you get close to them they will be the best friends ever. This is similar to how pumpkin bread takes time to make, but when it’s done it’s the perfect treat.

Aquarius – Pumpkin Cupcake

Cupcakes can be made with many different flavors just like how Aquarians are known to be innovative and creative. Aquarians are unique just like how no two cupcakes can be the same. Aquarians are also self reliant and optimistic.

Pisces – Pumpkin Ice Cream

No matter what you are going through ice cream will always be there identical to how Pisceans are always there for their friends. Pisces will always be a someone that will listen to problems and stay judgement free.

Aries – Pumpkin Pancakes

Aries are fun and energetic, just like how fun and energetic pumpkin pancakes are. Pumpkin pancakes are a tasty treat in the morning. Aries also have a confident aura about them. They lead with enthusiasm and an vibrant nature. This is similar to how fun pancakes in the morning lead you through a great day.

Taurus – Pumpkin Roll

Taureans are laid back and grounded. This is exactly like a pumpkin roll. A pumpkin roll is a simple yet delicious work of art. Taureans make great, loyal friends. They also tend to be foodies which is why they would be a perfectly rich pumpkin roll.

Gemini – Pumpkin Pudding

Pumpkin pudding is the perfect and quick side for any fall get together, just like how Geminis are also perfect to be any type of friend. Geminis are versatile and kind, they also are very perceptive and enjoy the company of others.

Cancer – Pumpkin Cake

Cancers are loving and caring towards everyone. They are warm and fuzzy on the outside and inside, just like pumpkin cake fresh out of the oven. Cancers are also very creative and protective over their loved ones.

Leo – Pumpkin Spice Latte

Leos are characteristically natural born leaders. This is the exact same as how pumpkin spice lattes are the leader of fall and especially fall drinks. Leos are also confident and loyal.

Virgo – Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

Virgos are very organized and like to have a system for everything. A Virgo’s way of living is very similar to the process of roasting pumpkin seeds. Virgos often excel at what they do, just like a pumpkin seed excels at being the perfect healthy snack.

Libra – Pumpkin Pie

Libras are very agreeable people who try to keep everyone happy. Libras are also known to be one of the most classiest signs out there, so they would be pumpkin pie. A Pumpkin pie is very classy. Pumpkin Pie is an iconic part of any fall get together.

Scorpio – Pumpkin Cream Chai

Scorpios are loyal and devoted. They also have vibrant personalities, just like the vibrant and delicious taste of a pumpkin cream chai. A pumpkin cream chai will always be a loyal and devoted choice for a fall drink no matter the time of day.

Sagittarius – Pumpkin Donut

Sagittariuses are bold and confident. Likewise a pumpkin donut can have many different bold flavors and eating a nice delicious pumpkin donut can always increase confidence. Sagittariuses are also known to be lucky and idealists.

Claire McFadden, a dedicated copy editor, is currently in her second year at the Park Press. Claire is the proud writer of the September 2023 article, "National Chicken Month". When she's not working on the Press, Claire can be found on the field during Friday Night Lights, twirling with the marching band. Her love for performing extends to the stage at Oglebay Institute's Towngate Theater, where she recently took on a lead role in the performance of Fools. Outside of her professional and performing pursuits, Claire is a dedicated student and nature enthusiast. Her academic excellence was recognized when she graduated 8th with honors from Wheeling Country Day School's inaugural middle school class.

Elle Terek, Photo and Media Manager

Elle Terek is the Photo Editor of the Park Press. She has been a part of the Press for three years, seeing the newspaper from its inception. Terek focuses more on design aspects of the Park Press, as she is the sole editor of the Alumni One-Pager, and newly overseeing the media and photography aspects of the Press. Terek has an extensive background in dance, an art-form where stories are told without the use of words. While she is also a decorated writer, as well as a cheerleader, using her voice to persuade dozens, Terek naturally flourishes in the world of photojournalism. You may recognize Terek from local commercials and advertisements in the Ohio Valley. She is the face of Oglebay splash pad and aerial course. Terek is a AAA cheerleading regional champion. Most notably, Terek has mastered the craft of the Snickerdoodle. Her recipe is perfected to make your mouth water, and no, she will not share it.
