Two wrestlers, Hunter Means and Jameson Maynard, each got their 100th win of the season.
“It was amazing. I’ve been working my butt off for the last three years and it was one of my main goals going into high school, and to finally hit that was one of the best feelings in my whole life,” said Means.
It’s the most important sport in his life, making him the person he is today.
“I’ve been doing it since I was two and I really couldn’t see my life the same without it,” said Means.
“And to me, wrestling is my escape. It’s a place for me to focus on myself and stay clear of distractions. Without wrestling I wouldn’t be the person I am today,” said Maynard.
Success is one of Maynard’s looks out for his goals.
“At the Park Duals, I got my 100th career win which meant a lot. It’s been a goal of mine since I can remember, and achieving it my junior year felt amazing,” said Maynard.
Wrestling is having another good year heading into the Championship; only time will tell.
