Here at Park, we are in the midst of our tennis season. Tennis is a sport that has been growing in popularity rapidly for the past few years. To learn more about the teams and how they’re doing this season, I interviewed some members of the tennis community. Here’s what they had to say:

“This is my first year, but the season is going great. We’ve all had our highs and lows. Whether we win or lose as a whole, it’s a great time. The teams are a great, close-knit community, and I’m excited to continue my tennis journey throughout high school,” Maliah Miskiewicz says.

“The season is going very well. Our girls’ team right now is 6-3 and the boys have a winning record too. We are all working really well together and having a fun time. I hope OVACs and regionals go well too so that we can make it to States,” Madeline Bradshaw says.

“It’s been a great season so far and we all have very high hopes for OVACs,” Aaron Chao says.

“We’re having a very successful season so far. The girls’ team has only lost two or three matches and the boys’ team has lost about four. Some of these matches have been very close and cutthroat. All of our players have a strong drive to be competitive and have fun. We have OVACs the week of the twenty-fourth and regionals the week of the first. Hopefully, we’ll have pairs that move on to states as well,” Troy Salatino, a tennis coach says.

We wish our tennis teams luck as they near the end of their season. They have worked very hard to achieve all of their accomplishments this season and we are very proud of them as a whole.
