Its that time of year again. When everyone is running around town with water guns trying to find people. Senior assassins is a fun tradition here at Park that starts at the end of the school year.
This year there are 53 teams playing and the prize pool is huge!
One of the teams in the competition are the Drip Divas who are Emma Geisel and Shae Marling.
“I ask my aunt to come up with a name and she came up with Drip Divas,” said Shae Marling.
They are looking forward to the competition and having lots of fun with their friends trying to get people out.
Many students are interested in the game for the competitive aspect.
“I am looking forward to eliminating people,” Noah Short.
Yet, others are in it for the memories.
“I like having that level of excitement and no one had been that upset about it because it’s a game. It’s a good way to bond with the senior class,” Zach Miller.
Another team in the game are Rosey Davis and Alexis Bordas and their team name is Hey Splash Sister. They are already planning on how they think they are going to win.
“Avoidance and trying to make our location unpredictable,” said Rosey Davis
They length of the games can last anywhere from 4 weeks to past graduation. It all depends on how fast people get out.
“I think its gonna last a while. To be honest I feel like its probably gonna go till probably even after were are done here,” said Alexis Boardas.
The last team is Splash Money the people in the team are Harper Moores and Katelyn Smith.
“Honestly I just looked up team name ideas on Tik Tok,” said Moores.
They are super excited to get the game started and have some fun.
“I am excited to hang out with Harper a lot and to just play the game,” said Katelyn Smith
