For a third year, the iconic Christmas House is decked out in complete Christmas decorations and in full swing for this year’s holiday season.

This amazing display of Christmas fun includes light-up archways, nutcrackers, Santa and one of his reindeer, Santa’s chair itself, and much more.

The house decorating takes a while, so the whole family gets quite an early start.

“It takes a month and a half to set up, so we start in the middle of September,” said sophomore Aspen Viles.

Mrs. Viles, Aspens mother’s, level of enthusiasm about Christmas becomes abundantly clear when it is revealed that she handmakes some of her decorations.

“She builds her stuff out of wood,” said Viles “She made the Santa chair.”

Mrs. Viles is inspired by her love of Christmas and a desire to spread happiness to all who visit.

Make sure to stop by The Christmas House on the Island, it will be lit every night from dusk until 11 P.M. through January first. For updates on certain events and special visitors check out their Facebook page, “The Christmas House on the Island.”
