After eight long years, Meghan Trainor decided to finally go back on tour. There were over 7,000 people at the Peterson Event Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for the show. Trainor started the show with her song “Mother” and ended it with “Made You Look.” She played over 30 songs with little to no breaks in between songs.
That night there were four dancers on stage with Meghan. Normally, she has six dancers but unfortunately two of them were sick . These four did not disappoint. They were phenomenal and didn’t miss a beat. The song they danced best to was probably “Genetics”.
The crowd was the loudest all night when she played “All About that Bass”. This was the first of many of her songs to pass a billion streams on all streaming platforms. When she played “Dear Future Husband”, the Crowd was going wild, as it is one of her most well known songs. Trainor was absolutely shocked at how loud they were.
Trainor showed her versatility by playing her song “Title” on the ukulele and her song “Like I’m Gonna Lose You” on the piano.
“The most shocking part of the night was when she brought out her husband on stage,” said Grace Mull. During her song “Doin’ It All For You”, Trainor brought out her husband, Daryl Sabara, onto the stage.
As the song “Made You Look” was playing, towards the end of the song confetti shot out at the crowd ending the show.
Overall the stage, the dancers, and, obviously, Meghan were all absolutely amazing. I could not have asked for a better first concert. Overall the show was a ten out of ten.
