Tracking Down the Title

Fans watching runners compete to advance to the OVAC Championship.

The track team competed at the OVAC qualifier meet on April 29th at the St. Clairsville High School track. The top four finishers in each event advanced to the OVAC Championship where they will return to St. C on May 5th. The track team will take on Regionals next on May 10th at the Mylan Park Track Facility.

The Girls team qualifiers:

1st place:

300-meter hurdles with a 48.70, K’Lyn Neider.

2nd place:

100-meter hurdles with a 16.15, K’Lyn Neider.

100-meter dash with a 12.91, Kaylee Davis.

200-meter dash with a 26.27, Kaylee Davis.

3rd place:

4×200 meter relay with a 1:49.72: K’Lyn Neider, Molly Brinker, Jillian Huffman, and Jean Schnacke.

300-meter hurdles with a 48.82, Lily Hanna.

4th place

Shuttle Hurdle relay with a 1:09: K’Lyn Neider, Ra’myah Askernee, Molly Brinker, and Lily Hanna. 

The Boys team qualifiers:

2nd place:

4×200 meter relay with a 1:32: Brennan Wack, Mykel Davis, Trent Simon, Owen Dobrzynski-Hines. 

200-meter dash with a 23.02, Owen Dobrzynski-Hines. 

Pole Vault with a 12-00.00, Adam Carman.

3rd place:

100-meter dash with an 11.56, Owen Dobrzynski-Hines. 

Shot Put with a 45-08.50, Luke Miller. 

High Jump with a 6-00.00, Mykel Davis 

4th place:

Shuttle Relay with a 1:04: Michael Neider, Trent Simon, Jordan Beck-James, and Xavier Neider.
