As the school year eases back in, our downtime eases out. We’re busy juggling schoolwork, sports, clubs, jobs, and more. So when you do achieve that downtime, what do you choose to do? According to the U.S Bureau of Labor Statistics, nearly 80% of people watch TV daily. Personally, I am a part of that group of people, especially with the new Dancing With The Stars season starting! My fellow students and staff of Wheeling Park are also included in that 80%! Let’s take a look at what these patriots are watching!
“I started to rewatch NCIS,” said Science teacher, Mrs. Dixon
“The Sopranos. I think the mafia is interesting,” said senior, Victoria Canestaro
“The 100,” said junior, Kayley Stoehr
“The Lazarus Project, it’s a really great BBC show about people being able to restart time in case of cataclysmic events. I’m also watching Twisted Metal, which is really strangely based on a video game, which is great,” said English teacher, Dr. Romick
“I’m watching Daria,” said junior, Mila Vosvick
“The Summer I Turned Pretty,” said freshman, Kaelyn Warfield
“I just watched Unknown Number, and it’s about school bullying. There are a lot of twists and turns, and a lot of other people are watching it; it’s pretty popular on Netflix. It was pretty intense and I watched it hoping I could maybe show it at school, but it’s definitely something you have to watch at home,” said History teacher, Mr. Beltrando
“My Life with the Walter Boys,” said freshman, Sadie McCamic
“Wednesday,” said sophomore, Naveah Schoaf
“I’m currently watching My Life With the Walter Boys,” said sophomore, Kiya Vaughn
“I recently started to watch the show New Girl. It’s about a slightly weird girl who moves in with 3 guys. At first, I thought I didn’t like it. I thought the main character annoyed me because of how eccentric she is, but I kept watching, and I’m starting to like it. It’s pretty funny and lighthearted,d but there’s also some romance and other stuff,” said senior, Emily Ross
“I’m watching Paradise PD,” said senior, Nathan Cha
